Hospitalists Assistant, Associate or Full Professor ACADEMIC HOSPITALISTS AND NOCTURNISTS- The Division of Hospital Medicine, Department of Medicine, at the University of California, San Diego (http://med.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is recruiting full or part-time Academic Nocturnists and Hospitalists to join our diverse and dynamic group of 80 physicians. We are seeking physicians trained in Internal Medicine committed to delivering excellent patient care, often integrated with regular medical student and resident educational opportunities, and meaningful quality improvement efforts. Faculty development in most of these areas is available. The selected candidates will be responsible for the clinical care of patients, teaching, quality improvement, and/or research. The base pay range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000. Salary is negotiated annually.
